Everyone, help me!
I walked into a bookstore today with a gift certificate and left WITHOUT BUYING ANYTHING! For those who know me well (or tangentially) that's a very odd thing to happen. I have an entire list of books that I really want to read, and everytime I came accross one of them, I told myself that I could either get it at the library or that it was too expensive to pay for when I could just as easily check it out. The same happened while looking at CDs a and DVDs.
Maybe I'm just becoming very frugal, but I think I just didn't know what I wanted, and rather than push it I just let myself drift. There are so many things I want to read, but none that stands out more than the rest. I caught up on a ton of reading last winter, but this spring and summer I could barely read at all, or at least finish a book. I need to jump back in. Any suggestions?
At least I know I'm not totally broken-- at Blockbuster I found two movies that I wanted on sale for $4 each, and I got them. At least with DVDs it was the price holding me back, not the lack of knowing what I wanted.
