So, here I am, blogging. Wow.
Backstory: I follow a few people's blogs because it makes me feel closer to them, because I miss them. Given that they're really busy, I'd pefer not to bug them all them time. But knowing what they're up to makes me feel like I'm keeping in touch. Even if they don't know I'm reading the blog. A little sad, yes.
So in reading other people's blogs, it kept occurring to me what I would say about my day in my own blog, but never made one.
And today, on a whim, I decided to make one. What's the harm? Maybe I'll even send the link to my parents and friends, so they can read it if they feel like it.
Today music theory (my nine-o'-clock class) was cancelled, but I got up in time to go meet the folks I usually eat breakfast with. Still haven't had coffee, which I should rectify soon. Mmm, mocha...
My body is really tired because in the past two days I've worked out; for two hours one day and an hour and a half yesterday. Usually I only work out every other day, so I think I'm a little worn out. Not that that will deter me-- I've become an endophins junkie and quite enjoy exercising now. If I keep up this two-hour a day thing, I'll be in great shape... or dead... but I like to think about great shape. I sleep like a baby because of it, anyway.
Registered for classes yesterday. I'm taking Spanish, chemistry, choir (I'm back, baby! God, I missed choir), honors sociology, and music composition. 17 credits-- 18 once they change the limit. It'll be intense, but winter quarter is the shortest quarter, so it won't kill me. And since I'm not always very productive in my spare time (what's happened to me? I was so productive in high school. College has been bad for the anal retentive Molly-- she's too relaxed now!) I think it'll be good for me to have a lot to focus on. That way I can have a leasurely spring quarter, too. Spring up here is so nice, it's really hard to concentrate on school when the whole outdoors beckons you to frolick until you drop.
Other than that, I have a presentation to give in my GLBT literature class today. Maybe. The snow has thrown us off shedule. I'm a little nervous, but I'd really just like to get the damn thing overwith. It's been one large headache. The sad bit is that other than the project, I love this class.
If anyone gets a chance, go check out a copy of Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. It's fantastic. I've many thoughts on the book, but right now I need a mocha. Stay tuned for the book review and why you should read it...

Hi Molly,
Have you seen the movie Everything is Illumniated? It is about Jonathan Safran Foer's trip to the Ukraine to learn about his family. It is very good - Elijah Wood plays the lead.
I found your blog when I was looking at your facebook today. Two hour workouts!! Holy cow lady, you are going to be a super model before we know it! I wish I could get back in the habit of taking time like that for myself. For some reason I allow school or work to consume my life. Not good.
Well, have a great night and congrats on being done with finals. I am curious to learn more about your GLBT literature class.
Your loving cousin and newest blog fan...
-Megan
