And she'll have fun, fun, fun, 'til her daddy takes the T-bird away

So Chris is in Vegas for the weekend, and guess who drove him to the airport and is hanging onto his car keys until Monday? Can you say "joyride?"

OK, ok, so I won't go joyriding in my friend's car. In fact I hadn't even planned to use it at all until he told me (unsolicited) that I could. It'll be nice, seeing as I have places to go tonight and don't want to have to walk around in the dark. I'm still scarred from getting egged on Halloween. All the ultimate boys were pretty pumped last night. I'm excited for them. I hope they stay safe, play great, and have a lot of fun. In Sin City. The little fuckers.

What does my weekend look like? Well, I'm glad you asked. Tonight I am going to a concert (the Senate is back with a new single, baby! I need to grow some cajones and go talk to them one of these days). Devon and Anni are having a girls night at their house, so I plan to go and spend the night. They're making crepes for breakfast. Really, how could anyone say no?

And on Sunday the Newman center choir is singing at an interfaith concert, which is really cool, except that we rehearse at noon, the big rehearsal is at 2, the concert starts at 3:30, it goes until 5, and Mass is at 6:30.

And THAT wouldn't be so bad, except that in the meantime I have to: write a paper proposal for sociology, complete an online chemistry assignment, study for a soc exam, study for the chem exam, and read a story for Spanish for the exam on Monday.

So, the plan of action, starting in about ten minutes is: get some food, hit the library and make a dent in the chem assignment, go to chem lecture, hit the gym (I've only been once this week and am ready to climb out of my skin) and spend the rest of the day in the library. It closes at 6 on Fridays, so I can do chemistry today, or at least some of it. Then I can pack for Devon and Anni's, bake for said party, and head downtown to watch the Senate. I may or may not be there for the entire concert, but I know I've gone way too long without watching those boys rock out. Then I can go see the girls for the rest of the night, and finish all my work tomorrow.

Sunday may be kind of long, but I just found out that Tim, my choral condutor, is the guest conductor for Sunday, so it should feel pretty normal. I can finish all of my unfinished stuff on Sunday night. Normally with this kind of workload I'd gracefully bow out of the concert, except our director is also in Las Vegas (where I would very much like to be right about now), so she left me and Lauren in charge of the choir: learning music, handling the concert, and doing Mass Sunday night. I will not let either Lauren down. So it's one crazy weekend for Molly.

Whoever had the idea of resting on the weekend?
