Oh, for heaven's sake...

I am so over the snow.

Seriously. It's the first day of March. Spring starts in three weeks.

Moreover, today is Devon's birthday, and the plan of action was to walk down an incredibly steep hill to drop off her gift and say hello/happy birthday/I love you. Which I could more than ably do if the ground were dry. I can't put the gift in a bag-- I have to carry it with both hands, and part of it is made of glass. This could end badly if I slip, which I often do.

Also, my parents are travelling this weekend, which makes me nervous. We, the Mexico people, have a big fundraiser on Saturday and we, the women's ensemble, have a concert on Sunday, and at this point I'm worried for all involved who need to travel anywhere, on foot or in a car. Seriously. The snow was ill-timed.

I'd like to bust out the springy clothing, too, if that's not too superficial a reason for disliking frozen precipitation.
