I'm so glad that went well

The dinner last night, I daresay, was a success!

Of course, I was so nervous about food issues that I didn't actually relax and realize that until about an hour into it, but that's just me being me. I was quite thankful for all of the people who donated food, those who drove around to pick it up (I'm looking at you, Athena, Corey, Luke, Nicole, and Adam!), those who bought food (I'm looking at you, John and Rachael!), those who helped prepare the raw stuff (I'm looking at a lot of people, but in particular Sarah and Corey). The decorations were awesome (someone had the really cool idea of using dirt for the center pieces and putting fake flowers and vases on the top. It sounds a little weird in theory, but it looked really cool) and salsa dancing was a success. We also had a dessert (silent) auction, where the good Father Qui-Tac outbid a bunch of people. I thought that was pretty funny. I'm so glad the whole thing went well.

After that, just a fun night of hanging with my ladies at Charlee's reading trashy magazines and watching trashy TV. Good times.
