Spring has sprung!

I need a new toothbrush.

Mine's getting all moldy. Gross. I kept sneezing all morning and I blame the moldy toothbrush.

Of course, it could have just been the pollen in the air, being that it is gorgeous outside today. The first things I noticed when I walked outside this morning were the sunlight, the birds singing, and this really cute puppy that came barrelling out of the arboritun with his leash trailing behind him and this poor girl chasing after him to catch it. A rather springy image, I should think.

In other news, I register for classes today. Only my time slot doesn't open up until fifteen minutes into my lab. So I'm gonna be a little late (sorry, Steve... I'll give you a heads up today in class and I promise I won't bail on you. I'll just be late).

On the upside, I'm getting going on classes that actually count toward my major. I really want to take young adult fiction because 1) that particular genre saved my life (seriously. I didn't have friends growing up. I read.), 2) it's the most flexible genre-- you can write about anything. Writing for adults is trickier. And finally,3) if I were to ever produce a novel, odds are it would be young adult fiction. My dad's been telling me that since I was nine. I agree. :)

Off to soak up a little sun/do some homework before the rain comes back and before class at noon...
